SCAM ALERT - waffleatewalter

I sincerely hope this is allowed. If not, I'll delete it - but I think this is the type of thing it might be nice for others to know about.

I recently posted my new selling journal to this community. I received a message from waffleatewalter asking to purchase a Michishige Sayumi guitar pick. We decided on a price and shipping, and she sent me paypal. I proceeded to get the guitar pick in the mail and set the item to "shipped" within paypal.

Next thing I know, I have an email from the paypal account's email asking me what on earth this was, they didn't order anything, and asking how it was paid for. I sent back that I had sent a guitar pick to their address, and received a reply that "Oh, nevermind, my granddaughter forgot to tell me she bought it." I thought all was solved at this point.

Imagine my surprise when I came home from a weekend in Tokyo to a paypal dispute for an unauthorized charge. I emailed "grandma" and asked her what on earth was going on and got "CALL PAYPAL".   I pointed out that I am in Japan and advised her she might want to cancel from her end. Now she is emailing back saying she doesn't HAVE a granddaughter. She brought the granddaughter thing up in the first place, and quite frankly I am beginning to wonder if she is even a grandmother, period.

Either way, if it turns out that a screen cap of her email to me and my receipt from the post office are not enough, I am out both money AND a guitar pick and I am rather angry about this. So that being said - sellers beware. waffleatewalter seems fishy to me.
