I usually either wrap it in paper or put it in a smaller envelope inside, with anycoins I wrap slightly in tissue so they dont clink

I hope that helps

Oooooooo.. That's what I was originally thinking, but I wasn't sure. XD

..that didn't even occur to me. XD

registered mail no matter what! XD and hide the cash in at least two sheets of paper.
it will take 1~2 weeks to get here (I live in Singapore*coughcough* so I know.. and yeah) so just be patient.

if you send it by registered mail (just go to the post office and ask) you shouldn't have to worry ^^ (oh and put your return address on the back just in case... this one time I sent something to Japan, but wrote the wrong address AND forgot to put my return address on it... thankfully I sent it by registered mail so I emailed the post office, gave them the number and asked to have it returned, wow I am so awesome. and I like to go on random tangents.)
Kenderkenderkin88 on September 27th, 2005 08:13 pm (UTC)
Bah, overseas mail takes forever.. ;_; And thank you! ^.^

XD You are indeed awesome in your ways. ..and your tangents are almost as good as mine! XD

I don't send coins through the mail but I've read about people taping them down to paper. Other people put their money inside a cd jewel case. I send my bills wrapped in stationery.
Kender: Sexy pout.kenderkin88 on September 27th, 2005 08:15 pm (UTC)
I don't have any cute stationary, so I guess regular notebook paper will have to do.. XD

Thanks! ^.^
lydiaillaparatzo on September 26th, 2005 06:09 pm (UTC)
I usually just wrap it up in notebook paper. Never had it get lost except once, going to HK. I usually don't bother with registered mail either, unless I've had problems sending to a place before.
Kenderkenderkin88 on September 27th, 2005 08:17 pm (UTC)
That's prolly what I'll end up doing, because I'm cheap.. XD Thanks!
Katybelldandynose on September 26th, 2005 06:27 pm (UTC)
what i do is wrap the money with a white paper and if it has coins i tape it to the paper or send a postcard and put the money inside

Ooooooo, thanks! ^.^

I just wrap mine in paper, tape the paper, and put it in an envelope. However, I want to use registered mail now. <__< I'm not sure how to do it thouhg...any help?
Kender: Kirito // ZOMFG TOES! *O*kenderkin88 on September 27th, 2005 08:23 pm (UTC)
Sounds simple enough. ^.^

I think registered mail is going to be the way to go.. >.>
neurotic_flowerneurotic_flower on September 27th, 2005 08:25 pm (UTC)
yeah, I agree. But, really I'm just saying that...I'll probably just skip using registered mail again. I don't want to pay the $7+. *coughcheapcough*
Kenderkenderkin88 on September 27th, 2005 08:28 pm (UTC)
::is equally cheap:: I dunno.. I think I wanna be safe this time, just because it's so far away. If it was still in the States I'd forgoe it and send it like a normal letter. :P
neurotic_flowerneurotic_flower on September 27th, 2005 09:26 pm (UTC)
yeah...it seems like that's the best way to go since it is out of the country. I'd say definately use registered mail for that. Good luck! ^__^
Kenderkenderkin88 on September 28th, 2005 05:23 pm (UTC)
Thanks! ^.^

I usually just get a greeting card, something semi-hard so it won't feel like there's cash inside.

My 21 year old sister attacks her envelope with stickers so people would think it's just another penpal letter xD
Kender: Sexy pout.kenderkin88 on September 27th, 2005 08:16 pm (UTC)
XDDD Your sister sounds awesome.

Thanks!

if it's a substantial amount of money, send it via registered mail. don't tell the postoffice you're sending money through regular mail, because that's illegal. stick it between some sheets or paper.
Kender: Kirito // ZOMFG TOES! *O*kenderkin88 on September 27th, 2005 08:19 pm (UTC)
Is it really illegal to send money via mail? o.O I didn't know that.. XD

Thanks! ^.^
quirky_rikkuquirky_rikku on September 26th, 2005 11:12 pm (UTC)
What someone has done whenever I recieved a payment is stick it inside a holiday or birthday card..

what i do is wrap it inside a bunch of notebook paper :)
Kender: Sexy pout.kenderkin88 on September 27th, 2005 08:24 pm (UTC)
Yay! It'll give me an excuse to buy one of those absolutely ridiculous cards I'm always lusting after in the stores.. XD

..although simplicity seems to work, too. o.O;; XD
Ellybell: $$$reset_panda on September 27th, 2005 04:53 am (UTC)
I send mine in a "Thank You" sized card, folded, so it just feels like a card. Goodluck! ^^
Kender: Kirito // ZOMFG TOES! *O*kenderkin88 on September 27th, 2005 08:26 pm (UTC)
Ah, okies. Thank you! :D
kawaiiayu on September 28th, 2005 04:46 am (UTC)
Yeah, since people already send money in Birthday cards and Xmas cards in the mail anyway and its safe, I do it like that too. Also, make sure you tape the envelope, because a lot of envelopes are really sucky and can come undone. I've never registerd my concealed cash, and I've sent a lot and never had a problem. I've mailed to Singapore too, about two or three times now, and the money has always made it there.
Kenderkenderkin88 on September 28th, 2005 05:21 pm (UTC)
Ooooooo, thanks! ^.^
