I've got Gravitation on my selling journal sarah_selling and I'm having a buy one get one half off sale.

I also have volume 1 of Eerie Queerie I haven't put up yet but am going to sell.
Louixastory_of_a_wolf on October 6th, 2005 11:56 pm (UTC)
Someone already offered me their gravitation set of 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8 , and 9 for like $20 (really good offer). But..I need volumes 5, 6, 10 & 11. Do you think you can give me a good offer on those w/ shipping?? ^^;;;; I live in the USA, zip code: 11801. I'll see what happens when I see your offer, thanks!
Sarah the crabsarah_the_crab on October 7th, 2005 12:13 am (UTC)
Hmm, well I only have Vol5 & 6 but the lowest I can go is $10 for both including shipping. I'd like to go lower but I'm basically living off what I sell. (Pathetic? Yes. T__T)

Hey, I actually have something you're asking for! *gasp* That's a first. I never have anything anyone wants. *laughs*

You want Psychology course books? I have the following, in almost new condition (there is a bit of edge wear from storage, but no creases or major stains, and the hard cover's corners have been banged to HELL and back, but the rest is just fine--you hardly notice the corners):

Psychology - Sixth Edition - David G. Myers - Copyright 2001 (I can't locate the publish date)
Study Guide to accompany the above - Richard O. Straub

The Study guide is just about as thick and large as actual course book, and it is soft bound. From what I can understand, it was bought for the class but never or rarely used as the student was a delinquent who never went to class. Neither book has ever been written in.

Make me an offer. These things are HEAVY, so shipping will probably be kind of costly. I'll add that on after I take it to the post office to weigh it, if you decide you might want them.
Louixastory_of_a_wolf on October 7th, 2005 02:21 am (UTC)
How many pages is the hardbound, do you have any pictures of the inside and outside? I just want to know how small the text is..and is it in color or black and white?
Amie: BSSM - Taiki Kou - Concertdependonyou on October 7th, 2005 11:56 am (UTC)
This is the publisher, although it appears the edition I have is one behind the recent stuff. The book I have is Sixth Edition Psychology, and not the Sixth Edition Exploring Psychology that they have listed.

Hard bound has 689 pages, not counting Credits, References, Appendix, Table of Contents and Preface. The hard bound has full color photographs throughout, as well as some color headings, etc. Soft bound has 528 pages, black and white, with all kinds of study guide/workbook things like crossword puzzles and fill in the blanks.

I don't have any pictures, because my camera died last night, but I can see if I can scrounge up some batteries and take a picture for you this weekend. I WANT to say that it's either 10 or 12 point font, but don't quote me on that.

Also, when I was flipping to the back to get the page count, I noticed something in the WAY back. I don't want to misrepresent this book. It's in good condition, but it is a few years old. If you open the book to the page AFTER the last page of the Subject Index (that's the last page of actual content in the entire book) there is an internal crack in the binding. I doubt that it will be an issue, as there is little to no reason to go that far back in the book, but I thought I should let you know. I ~just~ noticed that this morning. -_-

Like I said, I'll try to get the pictures this weekend for you. Do you want me to see if I can get a quote for shipping for you? I'd need your zip code. You can email it to me, if you like.

I always add delivery confirmation, so that you can track your package, just fyi.
Louixastory_of_a_wolf on October 7th, 2005 07:15 pm (UTC)
Wow, that seems soo heavy. I'll put off the softbound, is that ok? I just need to know the lowest you would go for the price..Because textbooks, I wouldn't know what to offer unless you give me a pic. Zip code, 11801, USA. thanks so much for everything!
Amie: BSSM - Taiki Kou - Ano...dependonyou on October 7th, 2005 08:10 pm (UTC)
Well now I can't really take a break from work, so I won't be able to get the books weighed until Monday. I'm sorry. The place downstairs closes in less than half an hour, and I don't get off work for another hour. This weekend I'll be out of town. *pouts* I'm so sorry! And I can get pictures for you this weekend, most likely. At the latest, I'll get you pictures Monday.

Yea, they are huge and heavy. But I'll see what the lowest price is that I can get on shipping. If I can make it reasonable, would you be willing to pick up both of them? There's absolutely no reason for me to keep one, as I'd have no use for it anyway, and I'd never be able to sell it solo. Unless you mean that you'll buy the workbook at a later date, which is fine by me, we'd just have to work out the details and such. *confuzzled herself now*

Darn, I was kind of hoping you'd offer what you're willing to pay, because I really don't know myself. I know that books (not including the workbook) like this sell originally for about 40-50 or more, but I'd never dream of charging that much! Errr... how about $15 for both, plus whatever shipping costs? Does that sound reasonable? That way, hopefully, the whole thing shouldn't be more than $25 for both. I can't imagine it'd cost $10 for shipping, but I figure I'll be on the safe side.

I'll do my best to get those pictures this weekend, and at the very latest you'll have them by Monday evening.
Louixastory_of_a_wolf on October 7th, 2005 10:25 pm (UTC)
Yea, that's my problem. I just hope the shipping isn't too expensive. I really don't want to cause you too much trouble, so before weighing it, I wanna see a picture of it. I mean, you know, I'm still unsure..so pictures always clear things up. $15 is a good price, I was worried you were gonna price me like $30 or something.

I have to agree with dependonyou... I never have something someone wants, except, apparentally, this time. ^_^ I've got Bleach 1 and 2, in what I'd think is perfect condition. I'm horribly anal about my manga. Make me an offer. I'm not quite sure how much shipping would be.. I'm also willing to do a trade, if you wanted to.
Louixastory_of_a_wolf on October 7th, 2005 08:05 pm (UTC)
Actually, I'm going to have to say no to your offer, I'm really sorry, I'm kinda low on money right now..so I'm going to say no to my least wanted. I really appreciate it though! <3
Beat-down Angelsammei on October 7th, 2005 08:21 pm (UTC)
That's cool, and no problem. I understand being low on money. >_> Good luck finding your most wanted stuffs!
Ritsukomirokus_heir on October 10th, 2005 02:52 pm (UTC)
i have Gravitation 1-9, and Eerie Queerie 1-4, if you're interested in any of those.
Louixastory_of_a_wolf on October 10th, 2005 03:49 pm (UTC)
Someone made an offer on Gravitation but I still need vols. 5, 6, 10 & 11. (5 & 6 from you) I have Eerie Queerie 2, so I need vols. 1,3,4. Is it ok if I break up your sets? It also depends on how much money you want for those too. Because someone else also offered me Gravitation 5 & 6 for $10. Would you go lower, or would you go for the same, but charge me cheaper if I buy Eerie Queerie with it?
Ritsukomirokus_heir on October 10th, 2005 03:59 pm (UTC)
let me talk to my girlfriend and see if she's okay with an altogether sort of thing with the Eerie Queerie and Gravitation that you need.
Louixastory_of_a_wolf on October 10th, 2005 07:01 pm (UTC)
alright, thanks!
