INDISPENSABLE TOOL FOR STUDENTS OF JAPANESE

Selling a Japanese kanji dictionary/Japanese-English Dictionary for the DS. $57.00
Name: 漢字そのまま楽引辞典
 (Kanji Sono Mama Rakubi Jiten)

Platform: Nintendo DS or Nintendo DS Lite
Unlike Playstation, the Nintendo DS/DS Lite can play games regardless of country of origin. Therefore don't worry about where you bought your DS/DS Lite - it can play games from both the US and Japan.

Description: This is a Japanese/English, English/Japanese, and kanji dictionary. You draw the kanji you are searching for in the one of the two boxes provided and it will recognize it and show you words beginning with that kanji, giving you the pronunciation (in hiragana) and meaning in English. There are very few occasions when it does not provide an English meaning, but a Japanese definition, but those are for very specific words only. It will always provide a kana pronunciation. You also have the option of searching for words in kana or romanji (alphabet) by either drawing them into those same boxes or typing them in through the mini keyboard in the game.

It also gives definitions for words that do not use kanji like onomatopoeia and katakana borrowings from other languages.

Also included are several small kanji identification games that can only really be successfully played by higher level students.

For students of Japanese or people who just really really want to read their manga without constantly flipping through a huge kanji dictionary, this item is indispensable!

Reminder: This game is made in Japan for Japanese people. But if you know your kana, this game will be your best friend forever. It's better than a denshi jisho!

Shipping: $6.00, airmail, from Japan, one to two weeks.
